Over 35 killed in Philippines accident

MANILA - At least 35 people were killed when a bus carrying 47 passengers plunged into a ravine in northern Philippines Wednesday morning.

All 35 bodies were retrieved. Six people were seriously injured in the accident which occurred in Benguet province, a police officer said.

Rescue and search operations are still going on, Xinhua said, citing reports in local media.
