AGRA - The bodies of a man and a woman, who went missing after a first information report (FIR) was lodged against them in a murder case, were found near the railway track in Agra district Monday, police said.

According to police, Rajendra and his wife Kamlesh, residents of Nagla Teja village in the district, were crossing the track and were run over by a train.

Villagers, however, said that the couple had thrown themselves before a moving train.

Villagers said the couple were under stress after they were named in an FIR for the murder of a villager Bachchoo Singh April 18. A warrant had been issued by the court against Rajendra. Since then the couple had been absconding.
