6 die in bomb blasts at Pakistan shrine

LAHORE, Pakistan — A police official says two bombs have exploded at a popular Muslim shrine in the Pakistani city of Lahore, killing at least six people.

Chaudhry Shafiq, chief of operations for the Lahore police, says the explosions occurred late Thursday night at Data Durbar, the tomb of a famous Sufi saint that is visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year.

Another senior police official in the city, Omar Virk, said more than 30 people were wounded.
