12 killed, many missing in Bangladesh boat accident

DHAKA - Twelve people died and dozens were missing Tuesday when their boat capsized on a river in northeastern Bangladesh, police said.
The accident occurred in Sunamgonj district, some 296 km from Dhaka. The bodies have been retrieved, Xinhua reported.
An official said the boat was carrying 60-70 passengers. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
