2 tornadoes reported in western Nebraska

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. — Tornadoes have been reported in Nebraska as a fast-moving storm makes its way through the Midwest.

The National Weather Service office in Cheyenne, Wyo., got reports Monday afternoon of tornadoes near Alliance and Lake Minatare, which are in the Nebraska panhandle. The twisters have not been confirmed by weather officials.

There were also reports of hail as big as baseballs.

Tornado and wind advisories have been issued for a large portion of Nebraska through Monday night.
