BANGALORE - Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and Home Minister V.S. Acharya, who were flying to Mangalore following an Air India Express crash that killed 158 people, were Saturday forced to land at Hassan because of bad weather. They took the road to the coastal town.

“We had to land at Hassan (about 240 km from Bangalore) because of bad weather. We are going by car to Mangalore”, 110 km away, Yeddyurappa said.
