Port-au-PRINCE - A woman in her 60s was pulled alive from the ruins of a cathedral in Port-au-Prince one week after a magnitude-7 earthquake destroyed much of the Haitian capital.

The woman said there were others alive inside the rubble. She was rescued by teams of Mexican and German workers, a Mexican rescue team worker told DPA at the scene.
