Abu Salem threatening me, says his brother

AZAMGARH - Underworld don Abu Salem has been charged with threatening his brother Abu Jais here over a property dispute.
Jais, who lives in Azamgarh - the native district of Salem - Tuesday alleged that he has received repeated threats from his brother in the last few days.
“He has threatened me several times…He wants to grab the entire ancestral property…I have made a complaint to the police,” Jais told reporters in Azamgarh’s neighbouring district Mau, some 300 km from Lucknow.
Under a high security cover, Salem reached here Feb 13 from a jail in Mumbai to attend the last rites of his aunt.
“As of now, I have not received any written compliant. After enquiring from my staff, I could say anything with confirmation on the issue only tomorrow (Wednesday),” Azamgarh district police chief B.S. Srivastava told IANS.
