Nepali held with drugs in Uttar Pradesh

BAHRAICH - A Nepali national involved in drug peddling was arrested here with cannabis worth over Rs.10 lakh, police said Friday.
Sharif Manihar, around 35, was nabbed Thursday night in Nawabganj area.
“He was arrested while he was going to hand over an illegal consignment to his clients in Gorakhpur,” police inspector Mohd. Naseem told reporters Friday in Bahraich, some 140 km from Lucknow.
“Preliminary investigations reveal that he has been in the illegal trade for over four years,” he added. Manihar is a native of Nepalganj.
