Ishrat Jahan killing probe given to court-appointed SIT

AHMEDABAD - The Gujarat High Court Thursday handed over the investigation of the Ishrat Jahan suspected staged-shootout case to the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT).
Jahan was gunned down by Gujarat police in Ahmedabad June 15, 2004.
